Hey, my name is Colleen! I am an artist and Master Esthetician living in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have been an artist all of my life, but only really got serious about it in middle school. After high school, I took some community college courses like Foundations (of drawing) 1 & 2, Figure Drawing, Advanced Figure Drawing, Design, and a Digital Media Course. As well as some other classes. After realizing that being an artist is HARD and making money doing art is HARD, I decided to become an Esthetician. I actually love my career choice! Utah is overflowing with Estheticians (and dentists), however and the COVID-19 panic is literally spreading across the nation. So until that all settles down, my career has come to a halt and it's time to go back to art!

During my time at SLCC, I made friends and helped start a local artists community. I would recommend this to everyone! The group is very active online and brings so many people together. It's really fun and is a great way to network in your community.

So to summarize, HI I'm Colleen, I've been on dA for a long time, made so many friends who I have no idea what they're up to right now. I started a career that wasn't art to support my art and now I'm doing art to support myself because the nation and the world is in a panic. THE IRONY!

I'm Back! 2020! (Ecommerce Rant)

haha so cute Well hi there! Welcome to my deviantArt! I am currently in the process of revamping my whole page! I've decided not to delete all of my previously uploaded artwork, because the last time I did that, I regretted it. So I'm going to keep everything and just slowly upload my new stuff! If you've been wondering what's been going on in my life, I explained a lot in my bio what my life has been like. Since earning some collage credit, I made a career choice to become a Master Esthetician (a skin therapist doing facials, waxing, chemical peels, microneedling, microdermabrasion, etc- pretty much anything that has to do with skincare/hair removal I am licensed to do.) AS SOON AS I got a new job that was going to kickstart my career, the whole CORONAVIRUS thing happens so now I'm just trying to focus on art. Useless Life Updates

Is what my new series of journal-like post series is called on my tumblr. I'll let out most of my rage about the weird shit, and the good shit, and the just kinda makes me wonder shit on there. But I guess I'll still keep you guys updated somewhat about what's going on, eh? Considering I don't post that often.. I think I am just coming out of an art block... My friend gave me a 30 Days of Lists Drawn assignment to do- so there's that. I need to sign up for classes, but I don't know what generals to take, I need to set up an appointment with an advisor, and take a placement test.
